'Wet dreams'

A pale milky looking liquid called semen oozes out from a boy’s penis when he attains puberty during asleep is said to be ‘wet dreams’. More scientifically it is called ‘nocturnal emission’ being occurred during the night especially in the dreams. The discharge of semen is involuntary in nature, occurs without his knowledge. It is also termed ‘night falls’, since it occurs mostly during asleep in the night.

At puberty the testicles in the male reproductive system start making male seed or semen. This combined with other secretions is a milky looking liquid and comes out of the penis in three different ways. First, during sleep, as mentioned by you is called a ‘wet dreams’.

Right !, You may wonder, where is the testicles located and what is meant by seed or semen? And of course the penis. Hence it should be described briefly to understand what is what.

At puberty (the time when the boy attains age, i.e. start maturing) the testicles (two seeds in the sac, more specifically called scrotum, hanging beneath the penis) of the boy start producing sperms. Penis is the external organ of the reproductive system of a male. Simultaneously the seminal vesicles and prostate glands in the male reproductive system (situated under the lower abdomen) secrete semen. The sperm combined with the other secretions namely semen, a milky looking liquid, comes out of the penis during three different occasions.

First, during asleep, called ‘wet dreams’
