What really happens?

It is a straightforward answer to the query raised in the first post. But before giving answer to the question I personally feel that it is necessary to elaborate certain basic facts for easy understanding of the situation.

Adolescence is usually defined as the period in a boy’s or girl’s life which occurs between childhood and adulthood. Adolescence begins with puberty, which technically is the time when your secondary sexual characteristics appear.

On an average, a child enters a period of accelerated growth just prior to pubescence. The greatest increase in height occurs around 12 years of age for girls and around 14 years for boys. The sexual organs both of the male and female grow to adulthood at this stage. Girls usually start their first menstrual period between 11 and 14 years of age. Other signs such as filing out of the body , enlargement of the breasts, growth of hair under the arm pits and pubis for girls; change of voice, increase in size of genitalia and growth of hair in the groins for boys, also occur around 11 to 15 years of age and complete themselves by 14 years for girls and 15 years for boys on an average. Medically, a boy or girl is now capable of intercourse and can actually procreate i.e. have a baby. Look more in the next post.
