Entering adolescence can be bewildering. Attitudes of parents seem to change overnight; the behaviour of people can be very puzzling, while unexplained emotional disturbances are frequent and confusing. All boys and girls, as they mature, must go through this phase and its effects to a lesser or greater extent.
This site is an attempt to deal with some of the problems commonly encountered by the young. By no means complete, we hope it will prove useful to parents, as it provides answers to the many questions that growing children ask and to teenagers, as it clears up many points that trouble them.
You may have umpteen doubts on the issue at hand. You may get answers to some of your questions straight from elders. But I doubt how many can approach the elders to get a reliable reply, apart from a meaningful explanation. Considering these aspects and in order to provide adequate and appropriate answers to those questions, I intend to devote some time to clearing these complicated issues.
If you have a question or a problem you feel you cannot discuss with your parents or family doctor, please e-mail me in confidence. Please spell out your doubts, explaining your concern in brief. Further, I would like to know your perception of those issues from your angle, so that a comprehensive and appropriate solution can be found. I hope this is clear and put forth your questions for the better of tomorrow.
