Honest answers to children queries

Many a time children ask questions about so many things. Often it is easier to answer questions raised on general issues and external things. But it is not so always. Parents and elders definitely would have met queries raised by their children especially on sex and birth. It is very difficult to give convincing answers. Neither the children nor the elders get satisfied replies. I do come across many parents asking me how to answer convincingly to their children’s queries on sex and birth. My reply is always straight forward and give answers up to their level of understanding. The answers should be honest in nature. Otherwise they turn around at a later date when they get scientific answers from elsewhere. Small children ask more doubts which should be answered politely and gently at the level of their understanding. High scientific answers with technical/medical jargons will not make them understand and satisfy. Simple, easy to understand basic facts should be given first.
