As I said earlier ‘sex’ denotes gender-male or female.
‘Sexuality implies psychological reactions associated with ‘maleness & femaleness’ and determines behavioural responses’.
I suppose this statement is not so easy to understand. Is it not? A little bit explanation may make it clear. A male should behave like a male whereas a female should behave like a female. Then the question arises what is male behaviour and female behaviour? Normally we know what a male should do and what should not do in a societal set up. A male acts as a male and discharges duties what a male should do in the society. If he behaves differently, that means like a female, we start thinking of him something wrong. Similarly, in the case of a female behaviour too, she has certain acts. So simply we can say sexuality is based on behavioural responses of maleness or femaleness. Manliness behaviour determines the maleness based on the psychological reactions, whereas the feminineness behaviour determines the femaleness.
I presume that I have made it simpler. Please feel free to discuss the issue further incase it is not clear.
